The sad reality is our elected leaders no longer govern and the news media, whose vigilance to protect the people’s right to know, have grown accustomed to engaging in politics every day. This is political and it is real.
President Bush's job approval rating was a record low in May, an approval rating of just 31 percent, according to a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. But, a FOX News Poll ranked the President's approval rating at 38 percent, which was a slight increase from previous month. The Fox poll was conducted earlier in the same week. The most recent Fox poll had Bush in the mid thirties.
It's all about ratings, well, I at least I thought it was. I'm a witness to the negative influence that infects television and radio journalism by the disease carriers, the media empires who own them.
